The Detail Plan (Plano de Pormenor) proposal for the Ginjal Quay represents the result of a joint work between the City Council of Almada and Grupo AFA. The main objective of the proposed plan has been the reversal of the current decline of the area of this magnificent location. As such, the Detail Plan introduces changes that favor the attractiveness of the Ginjal Quay by creating a new urban hub. The Detail Plan currently under public discussion: housing, hotels, shops, services, parking, viewpoints, short-rental apartments and public spaces, as well as art galleries and multiple infrastructures, in order to preserve the historical memory of the Ginjal Quay. This property has potential for the installation of small industries, housing, hotels, restaurants and recreational infrastructures.
